Class Lecutre Examples from Tuesday
I posted the notes from this past tuesday below. In the last 2 minutes of class, I tried one example out of the book, and I did it incorrectly. I corrected myself after everyone left, and the corrected version is at the end of the notes. Enjoy! -Rob
The deferred exam
The deferred exam paperwork, as discussed in class, is available in the math office. To qualify to write the deferred exam, if you haven't done so yet, you will need to go to the math office to get the paperwork, and then come see me with:
  • a print out from Aurora showing you are registered in both my class and in the one it is conflicting with, and
  • a copy of the course outline showing you have a conflicting exam at that date and time.
Bring me those papers and I will sign the math department form. You MUST get this signature BEFORE the date of the MATH 1700 exam, and in order to have permission to write the deferred exam. -Rob
