• extend Rh hydrogenation catalysis to related chemistry (hydrosilation, hydroboration) and characterize reaction intermediates
• extend chemistry of low-coordinate b-diiminate chemistry to Pd, Ru and Os

In the area of diiminepyridine ligands:

• radical chemistry of Co and Ni complexes
• modified ligands for olefin polymerization
