Visa Requirement: Canadian citizens do not require visa to enter Botswana for a stay up to 90 days. A valid Canadian passport is needed for entry. Travel: There are no direct flights to Botswana. The best option is to go through the Oliver Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, and then connect to Gaborone (Sir Tseretse Khama Airport). There are about 10 flights each day by South African Airways Express and Air Botswana. Each participant will be received at the airport. It will be Winter in Gaborone during the period of the summer school. So, bring your warm (``winter") clothing. The temperature can be very low during the morning and evenings (about 0 degres celsius ) and warm during the day (about 25 degree celcius).
