Dr. Robert D. Hoppa

Professor

Department of Anthropology

 

Dr. Hoppa is a human osteologist whose research foci include bioarchaeology, childhood growth & development, palaeodemography, historical demography & digital image analysis. At the BDIAL, Dr. Hoppa and his students are exploring innovative ways of visualizing, analyzing and interpreting the biology of past peoples from the archaeological record in order to answer questions about the impact of changing social and environmental conditions.
