Red and green swizzle sticks

My rendition of the infamous cartoon TV show which often parodies Star Wars.

These two customs were taken from the cover of a Star Wars Insider magazine. After finding Homer at a local comic shop, I decided I had to make these two. 

So I sculpted Bart from scratch and used a green "sword-style" swizzle-stick for his saber. 

Homer was previously in a pose throwing a football -- so I lopped off both his arms and sculpted them in the proper position. Sculpey was used to add his costume detail and another red swizzle-stick made his glowing saber.
