Welcome to the Language, Health, and Illness Research Group website!
We are
a group of researchers from the University of Manitoba who
specialize in research of the self and identity,
particularly in the face of disability or illness. Our
research uses a mixture of quantitative-statistical
techniques and qualitative methodologies, with the majority
of our team engaged in qualitative research.
This website is designed to provide information to our
participants, as well as those individuals who have taken
an interest in our findings.
