Introduction

In this assignment, HIV-1 gene gap p17 was subcloned into Yeast vector pAS2-1 (containing GAL 4 binding domain) to generate fusion vector,
Which can be used to produce fusion protein. This fusion vector is used in Gal4-based Two-Yeast Hybrid system to co-infect Yeast cells 
with the vector containing activation domain (AD) of Gal4 protein to screen gag P17 binding protein.
