The Computer Services deparment at the university is responsible for

Responsibilities included:
- Working in the TerraSoft Geographic Information System environment creating Town plans, Habitat Suitability Models;
- preparation of graphics and spreadsheets for inclusireports;

- in charge of setting up a Local Area Network;
- Represented office and client at trade symposiums;
- assisted professional staff with report editing and proposal creation;

Winter 1994: Triple S Business Development Corporation
Triple S is the business development organization for Selkirk Manitoba and its surrounding communities. In February 1994, Triple S jointly with three other local firms sponsored a project intended to combine the towns Assessment Roles as well as surveyed data in a GIS environment. Myself and one other were hired to launch Phase I of this project. Please contact Greg Paquin for further information.

- Digitizing Town of Selkirk;
- Linking spatial data with Assessment Roles;
- Working with partner as a team.
1991-1993: I.D. System Ltd.
IDS is the Environmental Consulting division of the ID Group of companies specializing Environmental Impact Assessments and monitoring. For further information please contact John Tiellet at 489-0333.
Responsibilities included:
- the digitizing of maps and air photos into a Geographical Information System for use in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments;
- preparation of graphics for inclusion in various reports;
- assisted professional staff with field work;
- assisted professional staff with report editing;
- performance and computer and computer network maintenance;
- other duties as assigned.
OTHER EXPERIENCE:
- Served on the executive council in the organization Manitoba International Marketing Competition from 1990-1994. Served as Technical Director for Ô93-94 competition and in the Ô94-95 competition.
- Member of Charleswood Ducks Unlimited Fundraising Committee 1988-1991.
- Experience working with Windows, MS-DOS, OS/2, Mac and UNIX computer operating systems.
- Familiar with a number of programs across all of these systems for the performance of word processing, graphical manipulation and presentation, and spreadsheets.
- Programming experience in Pascal, Dbase IV, HTML, Sybase, Assembly Language, and BASIC.
- Touch-typing keyboard skills of 65 words per minute.
