Euclid:

Euclid proves that there are an Infinite number of  Prime numbers. (Primes are only divisible by themselves and one.)

  • Proof by contradiction.

Euclid does other cool stuff, like developing the axioms of geometry.

Greatest Common Divisor algorithm, still used in RSA (Public Key Cryptography)

Writes the first math text book, much like the style of today, not very readable.
