Kraatz holds a Tier 2 CRC in Biomaterials; he has made several contributions related to the formation of ferrocene-labeled bioconjugates and exploited their properties in biosensor applications. ESCA/Auger, SIMS and SPM will be used to investigate the physical properties of peptide and DNA-modified surfaces before and after substrate-surface interactions. |
