This directory pir_databases/psd/codata contains the current
bi-weekly update of the PIR-International Protein Sequence
Database, as well as the quarterly releases in their corresponding
sub-directories. The files are compressed in codata format (*.nam,
*.dat_Z).

The *.nam files contain the database descriptions.
The *.seq.Z files contain the sequence, references and annotation
information.

Upto the three most recent releases will be retained.
