Install Koala
Download Koala
Open the containing folder - use "right-click" (clicking with the right mouse button) to access this menu item
Extract Koala from the zip file - use "right-click" (clicking with the right mouse button) to access this menu item
Run the installer
Fill out all of the fields - if you don't know how to fill them out type enter to use the default settings. The default settings for each field is shown in brackets. The two mandatory fields (which we did not choose for you in the tutorial) are the database password (which you chose for the Koala account when you installed MySQL), and the password you want to use for Koala's configuration menu (which you can choose now)
You may also get a prompt mid-way to fill out
the Pathway Tools root HTML directory. Fill
this out, or press enter if you don't know the
path (i.e. pressing enter uses the default value
Press any key to finish the install
You are now ready to start your Pathway Tools web server. Please see the following page for detailed instructions. If you get the following screen when starting your Pathway Tools web server, then you need to patch Pathway tools. Click here for instructions on how to patch pathway tools. Apply the patch, then proceed to the next step.
