OPTIONS
--birchdir directory
- path to the BIRCH directory.
--install - perform tasks for a new BIRCH installation. The
values of BIRCHvariables will be saved in
$BIRCH/local/admin/BIRCH.settings.
--update - perform tasks for an update of an existing
BIRCH. When updating, BIRCHSettings.py will set variables giving
priority to already-existing BIRCHvariable values. In versions of
BIRCH prior to BIRCH 3.0, settings were specified in
$BIRCH/local/admin. These settings should be commented out
manually to keep them from overriding the new settings.
--setvar variable_name=value - set a
new value for a BIRCH environment variable.
