What does it do?
The next button is used to move the wizard to the next step.
Typically this will mean a move from a input display to either another input display, or execution of the main task.
What if the next button doesn't seem to work?
If the next button is not enabled (that is, it appears "ghosted", and will not respond to mouse clicks) than it means one of two things;
- The computer is waiting for input from the user (if input has been given, and the next button is still enabled than for some reason the input is incorrect)
- The computer is performing a computation and cannot allow the use to move to a later step. Either wait for the computation to finish or click the "cancel" button.
