- Band detection may be automatic, semi-automatic, or manual.
- A popup with a 2X magnified crop box.
- Fragment-size editing.
- The gel-format file and template-definition
file may be created on-line.
- Lane labels from a given gel-format file may be
temporarily edited.
- Lane index labels, lane ID labels, and inheritance codes are shown
directly above or below the crop box.
- Three generation, 2 allele system inheritance analysis.
- When inheritance is active, a window containing color-coded alleles
and their sizes appears to the left or right of the crop box.
- TIFF images may be input.
- Images with gels whose lane widths vary and/or whose interlane
spacing varies may have a user-defined comb-geometry file
override the program's automatic lane-detection algorithm.
- Command-line options for specifying gel-format, template, and
comb-geometry files AND for specifying that the program use xrdb to
load the app-defaults file of X resources.
