_N_u_t_r_i_t_i_o_n_a_l _a_n_d _M_a_r_k_e_t_i_n_g _I_n_f_o_r_m_a_t_i_o_n _o_n _U_S _C_e_r_e_a_l_s

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     The 'UScereal' data frame has 65 rows and 11 columns. The data
     come from the 1993 ASA Statistical Graphics Exposition, and are
     taken from the mandatory  F&DA food label. The data have been
     normalized here to a portion of one American cup.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     UScereal

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     '_m_f_r' Manufacturer, represented by its first initial: G=General
          Mills, K=Kelloggs, N=Nabisco, P=Post, Q=Quaker Oats,
          R=Ralston Purina.

     '_c_a_l_o_r_i_e_s' number of calories in one portion.

     '_p_r_o_t_e_i_n' grams of protein in one portion.

     '_f_a_t' grams of fat in one portion.

     '_s_o_d_i_u_m' milligrams of sodium in one portion.

     '_f_i_b_r_e' grams of dietary fibre in one portion.

     '_c_a_r_b_o' grams of complex carbohydrates in one portion.

     '_s_u_g_a_r_s' grams of sugars in one portion.

     '_s_h_e_l_f' display shelf (1, 2, or 3, counting from the floor).

     '_p_o_t_a_s_s_i_u_m' grams of potassium.

     '_v_i_t_a_m_i_n_s' vitamins and minerals (none, enriched, or 100%).
