_F_l_u_s_h _O_u_t_p_u_t _t_o _A _C_o_n_s_o_l_e

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     This does nothing except on console-based versions of R. On the
     Mac OS X and Windows GUIs, it ensures that the display of output
     in the console is current, even if output buffering is on.
