Dr. Brenda M. Stoesz

Dr. Brenda M. Stoesz is a Faculty Specialist at The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at the University of Manitoba, and an adjunct member in the BCS area in the Department of Psychology. Her previous research involved examining relationships between extensive music training and the development of non-musical perceptual and cognitive skills; and investigating how the human visual system selects particular interpretations of ambiguous figures. Currently, she is involved in studies examining the processing of static and dynamic faces; diagnosis and interventions in autism spectrum disorders and knowledge translation; health and health care use of person with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and issues of academic integrity in higher education.
