Subject:         FYI: ftp access to Novell clients

Windows:
- web browser: URL is
ftp://setup@netware.umanitoba.ca/CLIENT/ftp/{platform} where
{platform} is winnt, win2k, win95 as appropriate. Download and unzip the
winnt.zip, win2k.zip, or win95.zip file. From the i386 directory run the
setup.exe file.

- ftp access: connect to netware.umanitoba.ca and login as userID
setup. Change to the /CLIENT/ftp/{platform} where {platform} is
winnt, win2k, win95 as appropriate. Download and unzip the winnt.zip,
win2k.zip, or win95.zip file. From the i386 (for WinNT and 2k) directory
or the Win95 (for Win95) directory run the setup.exe file.

Macintosh:
- web browser: Internet Explorer 5 does not connect properly but
Nescape 4.7 does. URL is
ftp://setup@netware.umanitoba.ca/CLIENT/ftp/Macintosh. Download
Macintosh.sea file. UnSTUFF the files and and run the Netware Client
Installer. The file "Netware UAM" needs to be dragged into the System
Folder:Extensions:AppleShare Folder as the last step. Then restart your
system.

- ftp access: connect to netware.umanitoba.ca and login with userID
"setup". Change to the ftp/Macintosh directory. Download
Macintosh.sea file. UnSTUFF the files and and run the Netware Client
Installer.  The file "Netware UAM" needs to be dragged into the System
Folder:Extensions:AppleShare Folder as the last step. Then restart your
system.
