Social & Personality Psychology

University of ManitobaWelcome to the website of the Social-Personality Area in the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba! Members of the area include seven full-time faculty members and thirteen graduate students as well as one postdoctoral fellow and several undergraduate honours students and research assistants. The area is vibrant and thriving. Faculty and students in the area have active research programs and are highly engaged with each other. Throughout the year, the area maintains a regular, almost weekly, brown bag (S.A.P.A.), as a venue for students and faculty to present their research and discuss professional issues. Finally, the area organizes social events around guest speakers and other events such as thesis defenses. Please explore this site to find out more information about our program, faculty, students, area brown bag series, and area opportunities!
