Some Photos of the Colonel's one Pistol
.

It is said that the Colonel had two pistols but only one is present at the Museum. The Curator of the Strathroy museum was kind enough to allow me to view the pistol. closeup so I have put some photos here for your viewing. I was also told by Ron Freer of Kerrwood that there is also a rifle that was donated to the Strathroy Museum but I have not seen it. This particular pistol appears to have been "fixed", especially around the hammer. It has also been said that a mark on the trigger guard is due to a musket ball having hit it. Marks along the barrel suggest that it has definitely seen a lot of action!
