Acted as liaison with the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, University of Minnesota of which the University of Manitoba is a Participating Institute. Started a new course on Industrial Mathematics for senior undergraduate and graduate students. Developed research teams for 'Carbon Dioxide Project' and Ice Melting
