Water Supply

Hydraulic structures present in rooms and courtyards in the northeast indicate that there was extensive water use, though its source is unclear. No cisterns have yet been found. A ground-level aqueduct serving the city ran very close by. It is possible that the potters tapped this aqueduct, though normally aqueduct water was reserved for municipal projects such as baths and public fountains, rather than for industrial or agricultural uses.
