The University of Manitoba invites applications for a Canada Research Chair (CRC, Tier 1) in marine oil spill science, a tenure-track or tenured appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Outstanding applicants with internationally recognized expertise in the broad fields of fate, effects, mitigation, or detection of oil or other transportation-related contaminant spills in the marine environment are invited to apply. Expertise in petroleomics or the Arctic marine environment including sea ice will be considered an asset.
Deadline: Applications will be reviewed as they are received. The competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
