Mason Kulbaba, M.Sc. Student

B.Sc. (Honours), University of Winnipeg

Mason is studying the pollination biology and floral design of Polemonium brandegei. In the summer he schleps his exclusion tents up Colorado mountainsides. Back in Winnipeg, he spends time in the greenhouse and raises moths for pollination experiments.

Melissa Sutherland, B.Sc. Student

Melissa is an Ecology major and has worked as a summer student for two summers. She went to Colorado with Mason, which was a good adventure. However, she seemed to most enjoy hand-pollinating Lithospermum incisum among the black flies!

Erica Luong, B.Sc. Student

Erica is in her third year, and has yet to decide her path in life. In the meantime she is happy to lend a hand in the lab.

Debrah Witko, Technician

B.Sc. University of Winnipeg

Debbie began working in the lab in 2005. We have to share her with two other labs, but a lot of lab and computer work happens when she is around.
