Ocean View Bus Service, Halifax 1945
(above) Lined up in the parking lot of Halifax's Simpson's Department Store are at least two buses belonging to Ocean View Bus Service. This photograph is dated 1945, the year OVBS was amalgamated with another Halifax suburban bus company, Charles A. Pender, Ltd. to form Fleetlines, Ltd. Perhaps the two buses in the foreground belong to OVBS while the four units further back originated with Pender. Maurice E. Burns collection. Used by permission.
