Vitaceae - Grape family.

Anyone into making wine or jelly? The grape genus (Vitis) is included in in this family. The wild grape (Vitis riparia) does not make particularly good wine it does make nice jelly.

This is a family of climbers. The stems are woody and climb by means of tendrisl. The leaves are alternate, either lobed (Vitis) or palmately divided (Parthenocissus). The flowers are in panicles, usually unisexual, sometimes both perfect and unisexual. The fruit is a seveal-seeded berry.
