Do you ever feel like you're having one of those days?
The Mantario Hiking Trail, located in Whiteshell Provincial Park, is a beautiful and challenging four day hike through some of Manitoba's picturesque scenery.
Castle Rock, one of the sights on the trail.

Caribou Lake The first lake and designated campsite from the south trailhead. |
The Cabin Lake trail starts in Red Rock lake and is a nice one hour jaunt. Although Red Rock lake is accessible by car, Cabin Lake can only be reached either by portage from White lake or through this trail. It's a perfect place to go for a short outing where one can get away from motor boats and water skiers. The trail is very well marked, but please use common sense. |
It's recommended you use snowshoes if you choose to traverse this during the winter. |
A beaver hut, found on one of the side trails that goes over a beaver
dam and through a swamp.
