Introduction:
Kaustav Dey is a MITACS Elevate Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Manitoba. He is currently working on Model-order reduction for EMT simulation of large scale power systems in association with Electranix Corporation, Winnipeg. He obtained his M.Tech and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay in the area of Power Electronics and Power Systems in 2022. He did his B. E. in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2015. His major research interests include power system stability, applications of decentralized control in power systems and stability of large-scale system simulation techniques.
