OVERVIEW
The UMARS site required hundreds of hours to design and implement. It has a unique structure marked by the ease of navigation. The site is also easily expandable.

Corrections for IE 5 to 7, including What's New reformatting to fix the tableless functioning, and global change to all the breadcrumbs The first change was not easy, while the second was time consuming, as it deal with IE bugs.

Many corrections (thanks to Alan Thoren, VE4YZ) and additions (Derek Hey, VE4HAY) have been implemented to deal with IE7. They include reformatting of all the headers in the minutes, many changes to the mini-portal, and links. Breadcrumbs and backgrounds in What's New are still problematic.

The entire site has been coded, tested, and uploaded. The total development time was around 6 hours per day for 21 days = 126 hours.

About expanded. The site tested. The total development time was around 6 hours per day for 31 days = 186 hours.
- 3.01 (October 1, 2007)
- Work on the third version has started. The site specifications have been developed. The structure has been developed. The decision to use cascaded style sheets has been made to facilitate future developments and maintenance of the site.

- The old UMARS Web site has been recovered, including the old images.
SECOND VERSION
- 2.1 (2001)
- The second version was based on frames, and was developed by Travis Hein.
FIRST VERSION
- 1.1 (1996)
- This version was based on tables to provide rudimentary information about the ham radio society at the University of Manitoba.
