MOTIVATION TO BECOME AN ADVANCED LICENSED HAM

Advanced qualifications provide additional advantages over the basic qualifications. One includes operating trasceivers designed and constructed by the ham (basic qualifications allow a person to operate commercial units only).

COURSE INSTRUCTOR AND ACCREDITED EXAMINER

Dr. W. Kinsner, VE4WK, has presenting the course to UMARS. At the end of the course, he also gives the exam on behalf of Industry Canada, as its Accredited Examiner.

Quite often, individuals with the basic licence study the advanced material on their own, and then request the exam either from VE4WK, or from Industry Canada.
