SERVICE TO THE MARATHONERS

For many years, UMARS has been participating in the yearly Manitoba Marathon. On road radio communications services are provided by UMARS members to the marathon organizers. Due to its excellent location, the VE4UMR repeater is also used by the many individuals distributed along the marathon path.

The event is advertised on the Web and on the local radio net.
