Before feedback : This schema describes the relationship between different strains of the pathogen coronavirus and the host human. This schema walks through the various hosts that the virus infects before reaching human species. Each strain of the virus is represented by the species line and the different characteristics like incubation period, order of infection within different hosts have been described. |

After feedback After the feedback, it made less sense to include extra data for intermediate hosts as the data and scientific proof about the actual existence and nature of intermediate hosts has not been established. Thus, I decided to go with a different set of data. The given schema represents the microbial subtyping performed by FoodNetCanada to identify various serovars (typhii, enteriditis, ssp I and Heidelberg) of Salmonella ssp. collected from different sources (retail markets, agricultural and industrial waste) during Salmonella outbreaks in Canada. The key specimens were collected from raw meats (chicken, turket. pork, frozen meat products, etc.) fecal samples of animals and surface water. The data lists the percentage amount of exposure to the foodborne illness through these sources. |
