T430 - L9239

      

Feature 9239 was a circular pit that was likely used for clay preparation, mixing and treading. Many fragments of unfired pots were found this room, and in some others. They were likely flawed or damaged while drying and left for recycling, as these sherds match the structure and surface of fired vessels from the main kiln site.
