Our lab conducts molecular research on bacterial pathogens and microbial communities through three intertwining themes. We are trying to understand how pathogens cause infectious diseases in humans and how they become resistant to antimicrobial drugs. Our goal is to discover new chemical agents and novel ways to deal with infectious diseases.
