I LOVED your story!!! It made me smile, laugh, and gag all at the same time. I would like to give it to every couch potato I know, along with a warning that "this could happen to you if you don't get off your butt, quit watching TV, and do something constructive"! Thanks for the fascinating story. I will look for more of your writing if I can find it. Definitely not a couch potato,

Wow, very effective message. Blaming everything on your environment and the all the people in it except for yourself for causing your condition is foolish, because then you don't take responsiblity for yourself and just waste away. Then you become detached from yourself, kind of like the guy in this story who blames his parents and dreams of himself dreaming, as if he were a puppet on a television show which has to be moved and operated by others. The bugs eating him (when he opens his eyes is particularly revolting) the rotting of his boday, and the rat infestation are disgustingly effective at representing his decaying mind.

Me gustó.Imaginativo y sugerente.Al principio sentí estupor, luego asco hasta que finalmente sentí el gozo primitivo de hacer realidad los anhelos.
