Learning Objectives:

1. Describe the basic structures of a Procaryotic cell.
2. Describe the basic structures of a Eucaryotic cell.
3. Describe the difference between a plant and animal cell and demonstrate the ability to differentiate the two.
4. Describe diffusion and explain why osmosis is a special case of diffusion.
5. Predict and then test osmosis with 3 different solutions and explain your results using hyper, hypo and isotonic.
6. Describe the effect of salt water on a living plant cell.
7. Describe the effect of a solvent on living plant cells.
