The New Cluster

This system was installed in the Spring of 2009. At the current time, it consists of one server node and seven compute nodes, each with 2 times 4 cores. It is currently being extended by three more nodes.

The Old Cluster

This system was bought in late 2003 and installed in early 2004 − and it is still serving us faithfully! As can be seen, it was built from separate computers in true BEOWULF fashion, the most economical way of doing it at the time.
