Supporting the fight against diabetes, the Cosmopolitan Club has chapters throughout North America. They consist of groups of volunteers that are involved in raising funds primarily to aid diabetes research. The Winnipeg Cosmo Club's last project was the raffling of a children's playhouse in June of 1996. With the help of CASARA and a lot of hard work from our own members we managed to raise close to two thousand dollars, almost all of which will help the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
