Christie is a sept or branch under the Farquharson clan and has the distinction of having their own tartan (most septs use the clan tartan). In case you were wondering the background is indeed a Christie tartan pattern, painstakingly done by myself, setting each individual tone by Red/Green/Blue, in binary, for each pixel, on a black & white monitor (NOT!). To try and make text here more legible I have darkened the hues from their original settings. Here is a swatch of the natural colours (not gauranteed to be 100% accurate but pretty darn close) if you're interested:
