BIO

I am an economist, professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Manitoba and Academic Director of the Manitoba Research Data Centre, as well as an adjunct scientist with the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy. My research has been funded by CIHR, SSHRC and NIH, and I have conducted research for provincial and federal government departments, First Nations and NGOs. My current research focuses on health, healthcare costs and poverty.
