These images were obtained using JVFax, Version 6.0 software, running on a 10 MHz 286 PC with Hercules monochrome graphics (what's that?). The signal was transmitted on 8.080 MHz from Norfolk, Virginia. A home-brew interface between the computer and the HF receiver was used. Tt would be nice to say the interface was a marvel of computer engineering technology, but in fact it was only a simple, 741-based op-amp comparator circuit!
