Learning Objectives:
Describe the main steps of fermentation and cell respiration.
Describe and sketch a yeast cell.
Determine the gas produced by fermenting yeast cultures.
Use a chemical test to show utilization of glucose by yeast.
Calculate respiration rates for larva or seeds at different temperatures.
Determine the effect of temperature on plant and animal respiration rate.
Describe cell respiration and the location of the steps in the eucaryotic cell.
