The paratransit services listed on this page generally provide demand-responsive public transit service to their residents.

While each implementation has its own characteristics there are several features which are typical (although none are universal):

If the service operates or contracts to operate scheduled bus or minibus service it should be moved to the main section of the All-time List. Further information is always requested.

Basques [MRC] & Saint-Cyprien, Québec

Transport adapté et collectif L'Éveil des Basques (April 2001 - present)
Rural paratransit services. Major city in MRC Les Basques is Trois-Pistoles. Website also uses the names Transport collectif des Basques and le Transport Collectif des Basques et St-Cyprien. (website 2011).

Beauce-Sartigan & les Etchemin, Québec

Service de transport collectif de Beauce-Etchemin (? - present)
Rural ride-placing service in MRC de Beauce-Sartigan and MRC des Etchemin utilizing the existing services of la Commission scolaire de la Beauce-Etchemin [Beauce-Etchemin school board] and Transport adapté L'Autonomie (the handi-transit operator). MRC Beauce-Sartigan includes the city of Saint-Georges. MRC des Etchemin includes Saint-Prosper and Lac-Etchemin. (website 2011).

Bécancour & Nicolet-Yamaska, Québec

Rural paratransit services. County seat of MRC Nicolet-Yamaska is Nicolet.

Rural paratransit services. County seat of MRC Bécancour is Bécancour.

Transport collectif Bécancour-Nicolet-Yamaska (October 2006 - present)
Amalgamation of rural paratransit operations in MRC Bécancour and MRC Nicolet-Yamaska. Rural service leverages handi-bus operations of Bougie-Bus inc. and Corporation de transport adapté Grand tronc inc. (website 2011, Le Nouvelliste 20 October 2008).

Brome-Missisquoi [MRC], Québec

Service de transport adapté et collectif de la MRC Brome-Missisquoi (? - present)
Rural paratransit services. Cities and towns in MRC Brome-Missisquoi include Bedford, Cowansville, Dunham, Farnham, Lac-Brome, and Sutton. (website 2011).

Charlevoix [MRC], Québec

Transport rural de Charlevoix (January 2003 - present)
Rural paratransit services. MRC Charlevoix includes the Ville de Baie-Saint-Paul. Also contracts for the operation of a bus service called Expressbus de Charlevoix with a weekday schedule serving La Malbaie and Baie-Saint-Paul, operated by Intercar (schedule dated 01 July 2010).
