Notes

[1] Several of the households on this page of the census are "no creed or denomination" suggesting something other than agnosticism or atheism is being indicated.
[2] There are only ten concessions in North Crosby Township. Concession 11 must be an error.

[4] Mother of David McGee Weagent.
[5] Mother of David McKee Wyante.
[6] Bride, marrying William Deane Trask.
[7] Mother of Jennie Edna Wyatt.
[8] Groom, marrying Jessie Clark.
[9] Bride, marrying Robert Clark.
[10] James' wife Jessie Clark.
[11] Probably Lilly's daughter Jennie.
[12] Servant resident with the family of John & Elizabeth Hughson. Also resident in the household is farm labourer Robert Clarke, Laura's husband.
[13] Bride, marrying widower John Roushorn.
[14] Farm labourer resident with the family of John McComish.
[15] Parents James and Clarinda Moulton are Baptist but all seven of their children listed are Methodist.
[16] Groom, marrying Bertha Crozier.
[17] Birthplace of William Jr. Marriage took place at Oak Lake, Manitoba.
[18] Father of Adeline Mary Wyatt.
[19] Father of the deceased. Mother "unknown."
[20] Birthplace of William Jr. Obituary published in the Winnipeg Tribune at the time of William's death reported his birthplace as "Bedford Mills."
[21] Birthplace of William Jr.
[22] Ann is "Ch of Eng"/"Episcopal", James, his wife and their children are "Presb".
[23] William is single, a farm labourer resident in the household of Edward & Ellen Briggs.
[24] Bride, marrying James Molton.
[25] Laura and Robert Clark, husband and wife, died 1908 and 1909, respectively. Installation date of the gravestone is not known but the design is similar to others in the same cemetery of the same period.
[26] Bride, marrying James Hatch. Elizabeth Mary's husband was James Hartwick and "Hatch" is believed to be a recording error.
[27] Wife Etta. Birthplace "Canada".
[28] Resident in the home of John and Racheal [sic] Whitmarsh.
[29] Witness, with Mrs. George McComish, to the marriage of Edward Dier and Jane Taylor.
[30] Listed with husband Dean Trask and two daughters.
[31] Ethnicity of William Wyatt, Sr., where he was included. Otherwise it is the listed ethnicity of the son or daughter of William, Sr. In several cases ditto marks were used, perhaps carelessly. In 1901 George Wyatt probably acquired his "Scottish-ness" from his McComish householder/employer.
[32] William Wyant a witness to the marriage of John Whitmarsh and Rachel Waful (Waffle).
[33] James & Jessie Wagant, witnesses to the marriage of Manfred Alexander McGuffin and Ann Ellen "Nancy" Clark.
[34] Court document in the matter of the estate of the last survivor of the Clark orphans, Arabella. Document identifies one of the heirs as Dora Moir, only child of Mrs. [sic] Dora Weigand. More correctly, Dora Deeley (Mrs. Arthur Moir) was the only child of Dora Alfreda Clark (Mrs. Albert Deeley). The younger Dora was raised from birth by William and Bertha Wyatt and appears in some references as their adopted daughter Dora Wyatt.
[35] Birthplace of James Robert Wyatt. Marriage took place at Biggar, Sask.
