Dr. Carl Ho was funded $7,500 as a seed funding through the University Research Grants Program (URGP) to start a research project of Highly Efficient Power Electronics Converters using WBG semiconductors.

Prof. Drazen Dujic (EPFL, Switzerland) has visited the RIGA Lab for 3 days and gave one public seminar and one guest lecture for Dr. Ho’s course (ECE 7440 Applied Power Electronics) about the latest Power Electronics Technologies including Power Electronic Traction Transformers and MMC converters.
