Being a science student I personally know how important it is to know the basics to excel in your courses. If you don't know the basics you will not be able to move on to the more complex topics. Being familiar with these key types of bonding when learning Chemistry or Biology is essential. If you do not have this basic knowledge you will not be able to succeed in your courses.

• Ionic Bonds
• transfer of electrons
• obtains a charge
• is then called an ion
• Hydrogen Bonding
• happens mostly between water molecules
• happens because of a larger molecule being electronegativ
• Polar Covalent Bonds
• happens between other large electronegative molecules
• mostly between a larger atom bonded to Hydrogen
