Burns Lake, British Columbia

Bulkley Nechako Regional Transit System (19 June 2017 - present)
Service alternates between two routes providing service three days per week on both routes. Trips between Prince George and Burns Lake run Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The run from Burns Lake to Prince George start at the Wet'suwet'en First Nation just west of Burns Lake and cover the 230-kilometre distance in 3 1/2 hours. The routes between Burns Lake and Smithers via Houston operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Victoria & Sidney Railway Company (18 July 1913 - 15 November 1913)
While the V&S operated passenger trains on the Saanich peninsula between Sidney and Victoria through all of its short life (02 June 1894 - 30 April 1919) the schedule accommodated workday commuters only briefly. For part of 1913 a morning inbound trip departing Sidney at 7:30am was scheduled to arrive at Victoria at 8:30am and the early evening departure from Victoria at 5:00pm (arrive Sidney 6:00pm) facilitated commuting. From 05 October 1902 the V&S was controlled by the Great Northern Railway of the United States. (Hearn & Wilkie, p. 59).

Burk's Falls and Katrine Community Bus (circa 21 May 2014 - present)
One day per week (Wednesdays) community bus service in Burk's Falls and Katrine. Service is demand responsive and requires advance booking, but is available to anyone. The first Friday of the month the bus operates a round trip to Huntsville.

York University Shuttle (mid to late 1970s - circa 1977, circa 2002 - end of 2017?)
The initial YU Shuttle connected campus to the Finch Regional Terminal. This service perhaps ended when the subway was extended to Wilson Station 28 January 1978. The second incarnation of the YU Shuttle connected campus with York University GO Station approximately 1.6 km away. This second shuttle was expected to be cancelled with the subway extenstion onto campus. (Nicol 2017).
